Just doing a quick update here. Only 14 days away until the pre-launch of WaTunes New Experience. Providing you new social tools to empower your music. Now I’ve been getting e-mails upon e-mails about New Experience and is it different from other social music networks?
To answer to that is yes! WaTunes New Experience provides a different approach to not only showcase music, but also discovering new music. We’re brining the most innovative technologies all under one social environment, enabling everyone to enjoy a unique social music experience. Another big question I’ve received about WaTunes New Experience is:
“Should I go with a different distributor. Can I still be apart of WaTunes New Experience?”
The answer to that question is also yes! With WaTunes New Experience, you are not obligated to become a label partner and distribute your music through our distribution services. Though, as an artist/label, you’ll always have the option to go through our distribution program, creating your social profile on WaTunes New Experience can enable you to take part of a whole new social environment. You can also become a WaTV subscriber and submit your music videos (HD Quality required) for users to be able to watch you perform.
The possibilities of WaTunes New Experience will be endless and we want to invite you and your friends, family, and fellow artists & labels to join in the new revolution!
What a wild ride this summer as we made digital distribution more cost effective than ever. Being the first company to ever enable you to sell your music entirely free has become a great rewarding experience. One of the things we’ve noticed is that its not enough to just put your music up on iTunes and other store services these days. In this day and age, we have to help you interact with your fans, to help you make a difference and create your own networks. Thus, we’ve believe we have create one of the most impressive social music services promises such interaction. We call this new service: WaTunes New Experience. This service will launch this month on September 28th, 2009.
Since early May, we’ve been giving everyone a sneak peek at WaTunes New Experience, providing a video coverage, and a flash navigation demo (which is expect to be on-site by late next year) which creates an interactive feel to WaTunes. I’ve given a select few WaTunes customers the privilege to test out WaTunes New Experience, getting their feedback of the new development. Each customer shares their experience of the site saying “Brilliant! Outstanding! Great!” or “It brings a whole new idea to the industry!”.
WaTunes New Experience is not just for the independent artists and labels. We’re also planning to work with the major labels to get them to experience a new wave of social media and interaction. Our goal with WaTunes was always about bringing social networking and digital distribution into one, creating a one centric source for music. With WaTunes New Experience, I believe we have done just that by creating a site where everyone benefits.

DETROIT – WaTunes.com, the revolutionary music service that helps independent artists get their music into online music stores like iTunes and eMusic entirely free have announced to reveal a first look of their latest new version of their site known as WaTunes N.E. or New Experience. WaTunes N.E., which is scheduled to launch in late May aims to provide a more social appeal to the service while providing new services to propel the artists marketing. In a bid to enter the social music market such as MySpace Music, WaTunes N.E. will be able to provide users with their own personal profile where they can discover and share new music with their friends.
